Comments from our audience:
Was a great performance, can you please congratulate the entire cast for battling on in torrential rain and thunder storm, at least I had an umbrella, they were drenched and still performed with a smile.  Well done to all.
More Shakespeare plays please, you did such an enjoyable version, I'd like to see more!
best wishes

Can you pass on my congratulations to the cast and all connected with the M W of W.  I thought I was at the Globe at times with the high level of acting , the physicality and the bawdiness of the production.   Also projection was very good - not easy in such an area   Well done John.   Diana
I can only say "Well done" which was what my lovely Peter ALWAYS said if he approved of anything good!   I was most impressed last evening- such a wordy play, but then we come to expect that of Shakespeare. I can't say I understood it ALL but there were many instances when I could laugh heartily. Hearing the audience respond does give actors all the thanks they are looking for. The play was well cast - good to see new people alongside more established members, excellent costumes and just enough props and set (stage management obviously enjoying their role too!) I was also thankful that the rain held off despite it being rather windy and it was good to have a different view of St Michael's Church - how clever of Richard to bring in the ad lib as the clock struck. All best wishes. Rosemary

CAST

SYNOPSIS
This drama is one of the great comedy plays by William Shakespeare. The themes of the play include love and marriage, jealousy and revenge, class and wealth. Sir John Falstaff first deceives the wives. The wives, Mrs. Ford and Mistress Quickly then deceive Falstaff. Falstaff gets into trouble because he is insincere, pretending to be in love when all he is really interested in is money. The ladies turn the tables on Falstaff, and he gets his just desserts in the end. Falstaff is one of the most popular of all the characters devised by William Shakespeare.
